Testimonials of One {Perfect} Ramadan:

"Loved everything about this collection of healthy and happy ramadan recipes! The photos are also so pretty and I just can’t wait to try these recipes out! Great quality work by Tabassum! Super proud and super charged to hit the kitchen!"
"I’ve been following Kashmiri Foodie’s social media pages for years and her recipes are always flavourful yet simple enough for me to make with my busy schedule so I knew I had to purchase her ebook. This ebook exceeded my expectations with the variety of recipes and beautiful photos. I love that these are meals my entire family, picky eaters included, will all be able to agree on."
“I started following Kashmirifoodie a year ago and since have been a fan. What captured my attention was her simplicity and authenticity. As a mom myself, I struggle in the kitchen to make healthy meals that were quick, easy and tasty. The first recipe I tried from the blog was Koftai, and it’s my family’s favorite. I’ve made a few of the recipes from the ebook and they are so easy. Our favorite so far have been the aloo gosht, chicken marinades, and the everything salad. I will be making the Pulao and Dahi Puri for Eid. Thank You, Tabassum for all your hard work that has made my life a bit easier.”

Testimonials of One {Perfect} Eid-ul-Fitr

“First off I have to say, I really appreciate all that you do to help/inspire people. I used to come home from work exhausted and drained not wanting to lift a finger and then I’d watch your stories and not only be motivated to cook healthier meals, but your recipes are so quick and easy for busy lives. AND you’ve taught me that there’s so much barakah in cooking. I honestly look at my kitchen in a different light now, and truly that’s thanks to you. May Allah swt always grant you & your family success and happiness. How you manage it all with two toddlers- mashallah!”
“I finally got to taste my creation and oh my goodness!! Before this, I never would have thought to make a proper ice cream at home, thinking it would be too much work, or turn out very icy/crystalized which is what I’ve experienced before. I can’t believe how easy this was, and to think it’s only made of three ingredients and I didn’t even use a stand mixer, just a hand blender with a whisk attachment. I whipped it up yesterday before iftar and then realized it would take quite a while to freeze, so I didn’t even get a chance to taste the mixture before putting it in the freezer. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I had the right ratios of everything, but oh boy when I finally had a taste tonight I was shocked by how creamy and decadent it was!! I sent pictures to my friends telling them I made ice cream at home, and they were so impressed. They’ll have to wait for the e-book to get the recipe though ;). I love that I now have this recipe in my back pocket to pull together the night before having guests over. Also, the recipe made so much ice cream, I’m sure I won’t have to make more too soon, unless my friends come over and help me finish it.”

Why Homemade Desserts?

After fasting for an entire 30 days, Eid is the perfect time to celebrate and indulge. However, I believe in controlled indulgence, which means, you control all of the ingredients that go into the dessert.  If you think about it, do you really know how much sugar and preservatives are in the desserts that you buy from the store? Do you even fully understand the ingredient list???? This is why I believe in homemade desserts. YOU control the amount of sugar AND you know exactly what ingredients you’re putting into it. I only use ingredients that I can pronounce and I think you should too.

Do Homemade Desserts Take Long to Make?

It depends. I’ve tried recipes that took over 3 hours to make…and that just didn’t work for my busy lifestyle. That’s why I’ve tested and re-tested and come up with recipes that take less than an hour to create from start to finish.  And they’re scrumptious. Most of my recipes take 30 minutes or less (Yay!)

What is a ‘no bake’ dessert?

A no bake dessert is just that, there’s no baking involved! This cuts down on the preparation time for sure. I would say about half of the recipes in this  eBook ARE no bake because if you’re like me, you don’t have a lot of time to create BUT we aren’t skimping on flavour, trust me.

Are No Bake Recipes Safe to Eat?

Yes. That’s because I don’t use any flour, eggs or other ingredients considered not safe for consumption in my no bake recipes. When stored in the refrigerator or freezer, these no bake recipes are the simplest desserts you’ll come across!

Can I replace/substitute the granulated sugar or cut down on the amount that you’ve suggested in the recipes in this eBook?

While my desserts are not overly sweet, there is still sugar in them. So if you’re on a specific diet feel free to substitute with your choice of sweetener. However, the taste may vary.

How many servings are in each recipe?

The recipes in this cookbook eBook yield 4-6 servings (some more). You can always split each recipe in half to make less, or double to make more if you’re serving a large crowd.

Are the recipes budget friendly?

Most of my recipes are made with less than 10 ingredients  and also cost less than $10 to make!

Can I freeze the dessert and consume later?

The mango ice cream needs to be frozen and the vanilla cake for the Eid Lettered Cake can be baked and frozen a week or two ahead prior to frosting. I would recommend making every other recipe fresh in order to maintain the texture and flavor.

Are the dessert recipes allergen free?

Unfortunately, the majority of recipes included in this eBook contain the following allergens: Milk, Eggs, Nuts and Wheat. As a food allergy mom myself I would never want to risk putting you or your family at risk and we have placed a disclaimer in the cookbook as well. Safety first.

One last question – What’s an eCookbook?

All of me eCookbooks are PDF eBook that can be read on computers, tablets and smartphones (You don’t need a special e-reader!). They are also formatted to print on standard 8.5 x 11″ paper, so you are welcome to print the text  of the recipes for your own use, if you want.

After making a purchase, you will automatically be redirected to a page where you can download your copy of the eBook. You will also be emailed a copy to save on your computer. Thank you so much for your support!
